Diane McLea // Laos Mission

Posted

Diane recently contacted Waves For Water with interest in being a Clean Water Courier and to bring water filters with her on a trip to Laos.

Diane ordered the filters and off she went.

As she describes in her own words: “…they were delivered to hillside tribes outside of Luang Prabang.   I delivered them to village chiefs and the head monks at the temples and schools to ensure the entire village had access to clean water.

Waves For Water wishes to thank Diane for taking the initiative and for doing such a stellar job!

We hope others will follow in her inspiring footsteps.

    Dear Miss Diane McLea

I live in São Paulo, Brazil, and I have a sister named Dea who became friend of a girl named Susan McLea when Susan and her family lived here in our town in the seventies when they were about 12 years old. Then the McLeas moved back to USA and they never else had seen each other. Susan had a brother named Glenn and two younger sisters, one of them named Diane. What I would like to know is if wouldn’t be you that Susan’s little sister. Dea never forgot that family and she would be very happy if she could get in touch with them. I would be very grateful if you could send me a reply, even that the answer is no. I will immediately inform her.

Thank you very much for your attention.

    Armando Castelhano.
